Calibration Gas Cylinders and Flow Regulators

Cylinder contains traceable span gas certified by National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). All cylinders manufactured to highest quality standards and put through rigorous analytical leak testing. Component concentrations are certified and lot numbers and expiration dates are clearly marked. Flow regulators provide correct and appropriate flow rate for proper calibration. Complete calibration kits include non-refillable cylinder of appropriate span gas, flow regulator and convenient carrying case. Newer Industrial Scientific 34 L, 58 L and 116 L aluminum calibration gas cylinders feature an all-aluminum valve that now makes these aluminum cylinders 100% recyclable - eliminating the previous need to remove the brass valve prior to recycling. All recyclable aluminum cylinders will now display the recycle symbol on the cylinder label.
Note: Compressed gas cylinders should be emptied of any remaining pressure prior to recycling to avoid a hazardous condition. In order to eliminate this danger, a recycle tool is available to remove the cylinder valve stem and relieve any remaining gas pressure from the bottle. Two distinct tools are available.
